rough, textured and imperfect
Stoneware vessels carved to resemble rock formations, or thrown and altered to create textures reminiscent of coral or other organic forms. Other wheelthrown vessels decorated with glaze that adorns the surface with tears. Broken pots mended with gold. These vessels all celebrate the imperfect, the rough and the material.

on colours and flowers
Stoneware vessels thrown on the potters wheel and decorated with expressive colours and images of flowers. Inspired by colours and nature found in urban settings, telling small stories of my past and present environments.

tableware
My collection of tableware includes teapots, bowls and cups. Made from stoneware and glazed in an electric kiln, these pieces have simple shapes and understated colours.
