The rocky pots are inspired by metallic mineral ores, objects that society mines to transform into products that we all use in everything that surrounds us. These ceramic pots resemble the metallic ores before the processing into consumables, and appreciate their beauty as they are: rough and unpolished.
The pots are made of stoneware from the St Amand- Puisaye region. They are partially or fully glazed with a metallic and/or crackle glaze and raku fired, where the process induces crackle formation and metallic lustre on the glazed parts while the areas that were left bare are blackened.
